Persona 5 gets English, Japanese audio in the west, but is delayed as a result

Atlus today advised that Persona 5 will ship in the west with both Japanese and English audio data. As a result, the game will also be delayed.

Persona 5 will now be expected from 4 April in the west.

“Practically, this means redoubling our QA and localization efforts, even returning to the studio to record previously unvoiced lines,” Atlus said of the effort and the delay.

Three new trailers were also released for the game:

Persona 5 heads to PS3 and PS4 from 4 April 2017. Its Japanese voice files will be offered as free DLC in the west.
