PayDay 2 developer uses reddit to defend microtransactions

PayDay 2 Producer Almir Listo has used reddit to defend new in-game microtransactions.

Developer Overkill had previously promised that microtransactions would never be included in PayDay 2, only to introduce them this month.

“We want to do everything we can to make PayDay 2 as awesome as possible,” Listo said.

“Not in our wildest dreams could we anticipate the type of reaction that the update received during the first few days,” he continued, adding that the items sold via microtransactions will also be available to be earned periodically. “From time to time, live events will allow players to get free drills and safes.”

What do you think of the microtransactions?
