Paper Mario Origami King game-breaking bug being fixed

Paper Mario The Origami King game-breaking bug has been identified and will be fixed by Nintendo, the publisher has confirmed.

The bug occurs during Mario and Olivia’s trip to the last streamer, where the duo is required to collect four stamps for a Spring of Rainbows VIP card. If a player collects all four stamps and heads over to a secret fifth hot spring, they will currently lose the VIP card altogether and will not be able to progress.

Until a fix is in place, the advice is to stay well clear of that fifth hot spring and continue on with the story. Scary, eh? We’ll let you know when a fix is in place

Paper Mario The Origami King is available on Nintendo Switch. We reviewed it here.
