Palworld PS5 release likely, but don’t get your hopes up on Switch

Good news and bad news.

Palworld PS5 release is very likely, though players on Nintendo Switch shouldn’t be as hopeful.

First, news of a PS5 Palworld release was teased by community manager Bucky over on Twitter. Bucky posted the word “Palworld” surrounded by black, green, and white hearts — in this case, representing PC and Xbox.

“I want to add more hearts, but not sure what colour would fit…” Bucky continued. “Hmm… How about…”

Blue hearts — presumably representing PlayStation — were then added.

That tease aside, Palworld developer Pocketpair has directly confirmed that a Switch port is unfeasible.

“So maybe it’s hard to port to Switch just for technical reasons,” said Pocketpair CEO Takuro Mizobe to Game File, referring to the Switch’s specs.

We’ll keep you informed as more is known; for now, Palworld is available on Windows PC, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X.
