Palworld is heading to mobile, published by PUBG’s Krafton

Lawsuit? What lawsuit?

Right on the heels of a PS5 release, Pokemon-but-not Palworld will soon be heading to mobile devices thanks to a deal between Pocketpair and PUBG‘s Krafton.

Krafton will publish Pocketpair’s title, which is currently under the shadow of a patent infringement lawsuit filed by Nintendo and The Pokemon Company.

“Through this contract, Krafton will expand the Palworld IP to the mobile platform,” reads a Korean press release as translated by Google. “It plans to faithfully reinterpret and implement the original’s main fun elements to fit the mobile environment.”

Palworld first released to Windows PC and Xbox devices of January of this year, amassing 15 million players on Steam in its first month. It’s since branched out to PS5 just last month, though the aforementioned lawsuit means it’s not yet in Japan.

Palworld is now available on Windows PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PS5; it’s also part of Xbox and PC Game Pass. We’ll let you know when to expect it on iOS and Android devices.
