Pacific Drive is Ironwood Studios’ first game

Check it out below.

Pacific Drive is the first game from Ironwood Studios, a team made up of former vets from Sucker Punch, Insomniac, Irrational, Bungie and more.

Pacific Drive is a run-based, first-person driving survival game,” Ironwood said in a press release.

“As a true road-like your car is your only companion. Based out of an abandoned garage, you’ll be repairing, upgrading, and outfitting it to stay safe from all the dangers that surround you each excursion into the Zone,” Ironwood continued. “Together, the two of you will drive deep into the surreal woods of the Pacific Northwest, chase long forgotten mysteries, and encounter strange and dangerous anomalies all as you make your way to the heart of the Olympic Exclusion Zone.”

“We love weird science, stories from road trip adventures, and we’ve always been intrigued by the dark and mysterious worlds from games like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. or books like Annihilation,” said Alex Dracott, Founder & Creative Director at Ironwood Studios.

“In Pacific Drive, we’ve been able to bring these passions together by creating an adventure that will take you deep into the heart of the Pacific Northwest riding in an ancient station wagon that, over time, can become your own substantially modified 80’s sci-fi machine to upgrade, explore, and risk the dangers of the Zone with.”
