Blizzard will celebrate StarCraft‘s 20th anniversary with a special skin for Overwatch‘s Widowmaker.
The skin is only a small part of planned festivities to honour the popular franchise, with events running across Overwatch, Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone, Diablo III, World of Warcraft and, of course, StarCraft and StarCraft 2 themselves.
The Overwatch skin, shown above, will be available between 6 March and 3 April, alongside a Diablo III pet from 6 March. Hearthstone will be offering a StarCraft-themed Tavern Brawl between 21-25 March. Heroes of the Storm will offer up 3 themed portraits between 27 March to 7 April, with StarCraft-themed pets in World of Warcraft from 31 March and 6 April.
Finally, StarCraft and StarCraft II will both be offering special UI skins from 6 March.
The in-game promotions are in addition to a special anniversary video and anniversary stream that will take place on 31 March and 30 March, respectively.
