Overwatch Workshop lets you create game modes, heroes

The Overwatch Workshop is a custom builder that can be used to create unique game modes and even heroes.

Available on the PC’s PTR, Workshop will eventually be made available to all players across Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.

In a video explaining Workshop, Blizzard’s Jeff Kaplan said that players “could even prototype your own Overwatch hero using this system” and includes an Inspector tool that should assist in helping creators learn “why certain things are happening” or “why aren’t they happening.”

Blizzard has included some of its own creations to the Workshop game browser, including Molten Floor where the floor is lava and characters like Lucio price a great benefit.

We’ll let you know when Workshop goes live to all.

Overwatch is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
