Overwatch on Nintendo Switch is looking less and less likely

Those clinging to hope that Overwatch will eventually appear on Nintendo Switch have taken another hit to the stomach.

Speaking to Express Online, Blizzard’s Jeff Kaplan all but confirmed the release will not be happening.

“The problem is, we’ve really targeted our min spec in a way that we would have to revisit performance and how to get on that platform,” he said.

“Also, it’s already challenging right now maintaining three platforms and patching simultaneously, which is something that we’ve finally been able to achieve.”

Overwatch is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. We’ll learn more about its latest in-game event very shortly.
