Clever Redditors have found new files in Overwatch‘s Public Test Region (PTR) that seem to suggest new Hero Doomfist is closer than we may think.
First, users have found new wire mech files which show the glass surrounding the Numbani Payload — containing Doomfist’s gauntlet — as broken.
Moreover, there’s also a new sound file for the PTR menu: Doomfist’s theme. Coincidence? We think not.
Blizzard hasn’t detailed Doomfist’s entrance to the popular shooter, though fans are keen to have the character played by Terry Crews. We’ll keep you posted.
Overwatch is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
