Overwatch: New Junkertown match won’t be in Competitive play until next week

Overwatch‘s latest map, Junkertown, will not be rotated into Competitive play until next week.

Blizzard made the confirmation over on its forums earlier in the day.

“Junkertown should be disabled in Competitive play for the first week,” Lead Engineer, Bill Warnecke, wrote.

Junkertown was made available to all players across Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 earlier in the week.

Have you had a chance to try out the new map yet? If so, what aspects did you enjoy? We’re really digging its Mad Max vibe.

Overwatch is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
