Overwatch Lunar New Year 2021 event now live

Get some themed goodies from now until 25 February.

The Overwatch Lunar New Year 2021 event is now live across all platforms, Activision Blizzard has confirmed.

The event, which runs until 25 Februray on Windows PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch, will offer up a new Brawl called Bounty Hunter in which the player who scores the first kill of the match has a bounty placed on their head.

When said target is killed, the player who killed the other becomes the new target and so on. Blizzard has also confirmed that Bounty Hunter will remain in-game after this themed event.

Moreover, Lunar New Year 2021 will add new weekly challenges, offering up the following rewards:

  • Week 1: Terracotta Medic Baptiste
  • Week 2: Xiake McCree
  • Week 3: Imperial Guard Reaper

Finally, new cosmetics have been added as follows:

  • 5 Legendary Skins:
    • Bull Demon Orisa
    • Tiger Huntress Ashe
    • Dragonfire Bastion
    • Kkachi Echo
    • Pale Serpent Widowmaker
  • 3 Epic Skins
  • Player Icons, Sprays

Overwatch is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X, PS4, PS5 and Switch.
