Overwatch: At least 1,500 cheaters have been permabanned

Blizzard has taken to various forums to declare its banned Overwatch cheaters.

The publisher said it has “recently taken action against Overwatch accounts worldwide which were found to be using cheat programs,” over on a community thread.

In its Chinese customer support forum, Blizzard was more direct, posting a list of 1,500 users actually banned. It’s not clear if that list is China-only, or if it represents worldwide bans.

Overwatch is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. It boasts 7 million players currently (minus at least 1,500).
