Overwatch: Doomfist heads to the game next week

Overwatch‘s newest character leaves the PC PTR and heads to all platforms next week, Blizzard today advised.

Players should expect Doomfist on PC, Xbox One and PS4 from 27 July.

Doomfist, a leader of Talon, entered into the PTR earlier this month. He comes equipped with a hand cannon that fires short-range busts, a Seismic Slam that lets him leap forward and smash enemies to the ground, a Rising Uppercut, Rocket Punch and the ability to generate personal shields when dealing ability damage.

Doomfist’s super is called Meteor Strike, allowing him to cause significant damage in a powered-up version of his slam. With it, he can also avoid damage by leaping extremely high into the air, then selecting when and where he’d like to come down.

Overwatch is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
