Overwatch Anniversary 2019 event returns this week

The Overwatch Anniversary event returns for its third consecutive year in 2019 later this week.

The event looks to kick off on 22 May and will run until 11 June here within Australia. As per usual, the event will bring back themed cosmetics including skins, sprays and emotes alongside special Arcade Brawls.

As yet, there doesn’t appear to be any new content added to the Anniversary event — apart from newly designed legendary and epic skins, that is — but players will be able to access themed content from the event’s history.

Moreover, Overwatch will offer up a free, week-long trial until 29 May for those who’re looking to try the game out.

Overwatch is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
