Overwatch 2’s next hero is Lifeweaver, a support character

Time for some heals?

Overwatch 2 will soon get a new support character in the form of Lifeweaver, someone who’s presumably focused on the heals.

Apart from the confirmation of the character, Activision Blizzard is keeping its cards close to its chest for now; more is promised on Lifeweaver in the coming days.

For now, all we know is that Lifeweaver will be Overwatch 2‘s thirty-seventh playable character, and the game’s ninth support character. Lifeweaver’s design is extremely floral, with a costume that features petals on its back. The character also seems to be holding a lotus, which may or may not drive some of his powers. Only time will tell, eh?

What do you make of Lifeweaver from his teaser image, above? Sound off in the comments area and let us know.

Lifeweaver will join Overwatch 2 as part of its fourth season.

Overwatch 2 is a free-to-play title available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch. Season 3 kicks off on 7 February.
