Overwatch 2 PvP the highlight of a 21 May livestream

Get hype.

Overwatch 2 PvP — or player versus player — will be the highlight of an upcoming 21 May livestream, Activision Blizzard has today proclaimed.

Incoming Game Director, Aaron Keller, said that Overwatch developers will join Overwatch League players for a two-hour PvP livestream that will take place from 5.00 am AEST on 21 May.

According to Keller, Overwatch 2‘s developers are hard at work “reinvigorating the core Overwatch experience” in the sequel, adding in more maps, a new mode called Push and other “major gameplay updates”.

The livestream itself will also feature developers as they chat about “some of the philosophy behind changes coming to Overwatch 2‘s PvP.” While it may be a little early for us Aussies, it’s a livestream that Overwatch fanatics won’t want to miss.

Finally, Overwatch devs will take to a Reddit AMA on 25 May, the title’s fifth anniversary. How time flies!

We’ll let you know when more of Overwatch 2 is known.
