Outriders confirms Inon Zur as composer, details Pyromancer class

Outriders delved into the Pyromancer class alongside confirmation of the game’s composer, Inon Zur, in a 30-minute video that we’ve broken up into a lean 13 or so.

“As a composer it’s always extremely exciting to be involved in building new worlds and telling new stories, so I’m thrilled to reveal that I have composed the score for People Can Fly and Square Enix’s epic sci-fi action game Outriders,” Zur said of his inclusion.

“It was a lot of fun blending heavy orchestral soundscapes and futuristic musical sound design for this rollercoaster sci-fi adventure and I can’t wait to share the music with you.”

Zur has worked on Dragon Age Origins, Prince of Persia The Two Thrones, Crysis and more.

Here’s a three-minute package on his work within the game.

The Pyromancer class was also detailed, a ten-minute presentation slowly drip feeding details about the class. It’s below, detailing the Pyromancer’s fundamentals and healing. It also covers its powers — Thermal Bomb, Ash Blash, Heatwave and Overheat — alongside power combos.

Outriders is planned for a holiday 2020 release on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5. We previewed it here.
