Orwell: Ignorance is Strength first episode available next week

Orwell: Ignorance is Strength will be available from 22 February, developer Osmotic and publisher Surprise Attack Games today announced.

It’s on that date that the first episode of Orwell‘s second season will be available on Windows PC, Mac and Linux. Episodes two and three will follow every two weeks.

“In Orwell: Ignorance is Strength, step into the shoes of a newly appointed investigative agent in “The Office”, a top-secret department in Orwell’s national security program, amidst bubbling political unrest,” Surprise Attack said of the title.

“Inspired by today’s media ecosystem, the rise of fake news, and social media echo chambers, Orwell Ignorance is Strength challenges you to decide how far you’ll go to uncover, manipulate, and fabricate the truth.”

A new trailer was also released for the episodic title:

Release schedule

A proper release schedule is as follows:

  • Episode One (Thesis): 22 February
  • Episode Two (Antithesis): 8 March
  • Episode Three (Synthesis): 22 March

A purchase any of the game’s episodes will provide access to all of season two.
