Old Time Hockey renamed Bush Hockey League; on Xbox One soon

Update: A representative of V7 has confirmed with Stevivor that the title change was to “avoid issues with another company of the same name.”

Original story: V7 Entertainment’s Old Time Hockey has been renamed Bush Hockey League and will debut on Xbox One next week, the developer recently announced.

The name change actually flew under our radar; it happened back at the end of October.

“Old Time Hockey is being rebranded as the Bush Hockey League,” a Steam Community post from V7 detailed. “New name, same crazy game!”

No additional information has been provided regarding the name change, though we’ve asked V7 for further comment today.

Already available on Windows PC via Steam and PS4, Bush Hockey League heads to Xbox One on 29 November. It’ll be priced at $11.99 USD.

We’ve reviewed the PS4 version of the game here, but will grab the refreshed Xbox One version and update the review if necessary.
