Oculus today confirmed that its will host a livestreamed E3 press conference from San Francisco on 11 June at 10.00 am PST.
That corresponds to 3.00 am AEST on 12 June.
The news was accompanied by Oculus’ new branding and website, though the biggest news appears to what’s believed to be renders of the Oculus Rift VR device, gearing up for a full retail release.
“This is an old placeholder concept image that we accidentally leaked. Everything in it is ancient, certainly nowhere close to final (as evidenced by the GPU specs and the game named “war”),” Oculus’ Palmer Luckey has already stated on Reddit. “Enjoy checking it out, at this point, but don’t expect everything to carry through to the stream on the 11th.”
