No Straight Roads 2 announced, planned for 2026

It's back!

No Straight Roads 2 was today announced and is planned for a release on PC and consoles next year.

“As the duo behind Bunk Bed Junction sets off on a worldwide tour, their mission isn’t just to perform—it’s to rebuild the legendary band known as The Goolings,” reads a description attached to a new trailer, seen below.

“Joined by their new bandmates, they’ll travel across imaginative cities shaped by diverse musical cultures, meet new allies, and challenge powerful musical rivals. Along the way, they’ll witness how their first adventure left a lasting impact on the world around them.”

The first No Straight Roads was released back in 2020.

“Despite its flaws, there are some interesting concepts, some clever boss and district design and an ultimate message of equality that’s been presented within; should we get a sequel, I hope more time is spent on a narrative and connective tissue that does the entire package justice,” I wrote in my review. Maybe my criticism will be addressed?

Expect No Straight Roads 2 on PC and consoles sometime in 2026.
