No, Overwatch’s Doomfist isn’t voiced by Terry Crews

While Overwatch fans may be overjoyed that Doomfist is finally joining the team-based shooter, they may be dismayed to find out the character isn’t voiced by Terry Crews.

Instead, Doomfist is voiced by Sahr Ngaujah. Ngaujah is a Broadway actor who’s also appeared in films like The Signal (2007), Stomp the Yard (2007) and Money Monster (2016).

Most notably, Ngaujah received Tony and Laurence Olivier award nominations for his role in Fela! The Musical, one that explores the life of Nigerian composer Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

Sure, it might suck that Crews isn’t involved, but it sounds like Ngaujah knows his stuff. Besides, Crews had a role in Crackdown 3 made up for him just because he asked; he’s doing alright.

Overwatch is available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. Doomfist is currently playable on the PC’s PTR; we’ll let you know when he becomes available to all.
