No Man’s Sky adds Mass Effect’s Normandy SR-1 to ship roster

You've got a limited time to acquire Shepard's ship.

No Man’s Sky has added Mass Effect‘s Normandy SR-1 with its newest expedition, and players have the rest of the month to unlock it.

Players who wish to obtain the iconic ship will need to complete all five phases of the Beachhead expedition, estimated to take around 5-6 hours to finish.

“We are thrilled and flattered that BioWare and EA let us pay tribute in this way. As huge fans of the series, it’s a lovely moment for sci-fi fans,” Hello Games’ Sean Murray said of the crossover.

“Like everyone else we’ve been rediscovering the amazing universe of Mass Effect through the release of the Legendary Edition. I still have chills every time I see this incredibly iconic ship warping in, and was delighted to see so many people have the same reaction.”

No Man’s Sky is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. Mass Effect Legendary Edition is available on Windows PC via EA Play and Steam alongside Xbox One and PS4; both titles are also compatible on Xbox Series S & X and PS5.
