Nixxes Software handling Rise of the Tomb Raider on last-gen

While Rise of the Tomb Raider may be heading to both Xbox One and Xbox 360, developer Crystal Dynamics will only be developing the current-gen version of the game.

In the latest issue of Game Informer, adorned with a Rise of the Tomb Raider cover, Head of Product Development Darrell Gallagher confirmed that Nixxes Software will be in charge of the game on Xbox 360.

“We’re wholly focused on Rise being an Xbox One title without limitation, without even thinking of the Xbox 360 version,” Gallagher said to Game Informer. “Nixxes put together a tech demo of Rise of the Tomb Raider content running on Xbox 360, and we were totally blown away by what they achieved.”

Nixxes has just released Lara Craft and the Temple of Osiris.
