Nintendo’s big Switch 2 livestream coming 3 April

Or 2 April, depending on where you live in Australia...

Nintendo’s big Switch 2 livestream has been dated, taking place on 3 April here in Australia (or Victoria, Tasmania, and New South Wales, specifically).

Those in the AEDT timezone can expect the show from 12.01 am AEDT on 3 April, meaning those in Queensland, Northern Territory, South Australia, and Western Australia can watch from the late hours of 2 April. Confusing, we know.

The livestream, directly embedded below, will run for approximately one hour.

For that reason, here’s when you can expect the show in your Aussie timezone:

  • Western Australia: Wednesday, 2 April at 9.00 pm AWST
  • South Australia: Wednesday, 2 April at 11.30 pm ACDT
  • Northern Territory:  Wednesday, 2 Apr 2025 at 10:30 pm ACST
  • Queensland: Wednesday, 2 April at 11:00 pm AEST
  • Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania: Thursday, 3 April at 12:01 am AEDT

You can check that timing in non-Aussie timezones right here.

The show will be available through Nintendo’s YouTube channel; we’ve embedded it above.
