Nintendo Switch: Reveal events planned for Tokyo, New York in mid-January

Nintendo today confirmed two major Switch reveal events planned for mid-January 2017.

As promised, a livestream dubbed the “Tokyo Webcast” is planned for the morning of 13 January here in Australia. Select members of the media, analysts, industry contacts and trade partners will be in the audience during the event.

Another event will take place afterward in New York, planned for the morning of 14 January here in Australia.

Polygon reports that the New York event will run for five full hours, though it’s not clear what it planned for that time.

We’ve gone to Nintendo Australia to ask of Australian-specific hands-on details.

We’ll have more on the Nintendo Switch as it’s made available.
