Nintendo Switch Online adds GameCube games on Switch 2

Nintendo Switch Online will add GameCube games, exclusive to Switch 2 and the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription tier.

The titles, of which three were detailed today, will be locked behind the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass payment tier.

Today, Nintendo confirmed availability of the following GameCube titles on Switch 2:

  • The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker
  • Soul Calibur 2
  • F-Zero GX

More titles will be announced in the future, Nintendo confirmed.

In addition to the GameCube games, Nintendo will also release a wireless GameCube controller, complete with a C button that utilises Nintendo’s new GameChat feature.
