Nintendo Store app lets you reminisce on mobile, but not in Australia

Again with this?

In more “not in Australia” news, a new Nintendo Store smartphone app lets users buy new Switch titles and look back at their 3DS and Wii U play history… but not in Australia.

Available across the Americas, most of Europe and, of course, Japan, the Nintendo Store app sadly isn’t available in Australia and New Zealand.

“You can use this app to browse Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch systems and accessories, plus other Nintendo products and merchandise, and then jump directly to My Nintendo Store to make purchases,” Nintendo said of the app.

“If you had a Nintendo 3DS or Wii U system, you can see your play activity logged prior to February, 2020,” Nintendo continued, adding, “to view your Nintendo 3DS and Wii U play activity, you’ll need to link your Nintendo Network ID (NNID) to your Nintendo Account.”

If you’re in a supported region, you can grab the Nintendo Store app on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Here in Australia, you can access the Nintendo eShop on a browser, right here.

We’ll let you know if availability changes.
