Nintendo shareholders re-elect Satoru Iwata and other executives

In its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders over the weekend, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata and eight other head executives were re-elected.

Iwata, Genyo Takeda, Shigeru Miyamoto, Tatsumi Kimishima, Shigeyuki Takahashi, Satoshi Yamato, Susumu Tanaka, Shinya Takahashi and Hirokazu Shinshi were re-elected while Naoki Mizutani was elected.

Iwata, Miyamoto and Takeda were then made representative directors at the meeting of the Board of Directors held directly after the AGM.

Nintendo reported its third annual consecutive loss last month. Iwata, who has shown tried to invest in Amazon in the past, himself took a 50% for five months after the news.
