Nintendo NX is more about the content, not teraflops, says Fils-Aime

Nintendo’s not sweating 4K gaming or the number of teraflops, Reggie Fils-Aime has told Bloomberg.

“For us, it’s not about specs, it’s not about teraflops, it’s not about the horsepower of a particular system,” he said. “For us, it’s about the content.”

He continued to say that he’s happy to let Microsoft and Sony duke it out over technical specs.

“We’re focused on bringing our best entertainment to both the Wii U as well as the NX in the future,” he continued. “So for us, whatever Microsoft and Sony are doing in terms of talking about new systems, that’s for them to fight out in that red ocean.”

The only third-party title currently announced is Ubisoft’s Just Dance 2017.

The Nintendo NX heads to stores in March next year. We’ve yet to have it detailed by the popular publisher.
