Nintendo: No, the NX won’t run off an Android operating system

Nintendo has responded to yesterday’s rumour that the Nintendo NX will run off an Android-based operating system.

The publisher flat out denied their next console, presumably replacing the Wii U, will use Android.

“There is no truth to the report saying that we are planning to adopt Android for NX,” a Nintendo representative told the Wall Street Journal.

Nintendo doesn’t plan to show off the Nintendo NX at this year’s E3. So, we wait.
