Nintendo Music is a smartphone app for Switch Online subscribers

Want to listen to Nintendo soundtracks on the go? This is for you.

Nintendo Music is a new iOS and Android smartphone app that provides access to a number of Nintendo soundtracks, providing you’re a member of Nintendo Switch Online.

Nintendo Music is a brand-new app that brings Nintendo soundtracks to smart devices, from the iconic beats of Super Mario Bros. and the grand soundscapes of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, to the tentacle-tapping tunes of Splatoon 3 and beyond,” Nintendo said in a press release. “Exclusively for Nintendo Switch Online members, anyone with a membership can use the app at no additional cost to start their own musical tour through nearly 40 years of Nintendo history today.”

You can grab the app right here on iOS devices, and right here if you’re on Android.

Like most music players on smartphone, Nintendo Music will let users search for songs and create their own playlists for playback. Playlists can also be stored for offline play if you find yourself on an airplane or otherwise away from an internet connection.

“There is no need to worry about game spoilers either as soundtracks that may spoil certain moments can be filtered out as well,” Nintendo added.

Are you a Nintendo Switch Online subscriber, and if so, are you planning to take advantage of Nintendo Music? Why or why not?
