Nintendo will release a Tetris Battle Royale game today

Update: The game’s now available — check the eShop.

Original story: Tetris Battle Royale game, Tetris 99, was just announced on Nintendo Switch.

Available later today and exclusive to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers, the free-to-play game will pit 99 players against one another. The goal? To beat 98 other players, of course.

“Players can look forward to battling it out in upcoming online events,” Nintendo added in a press release.

You can check out Tetris 99 below. We’ll let you know when you can download it.

Tetris 99 is available on Nintendo Switch from 14 February.
