Nintendo to hold invitational Super Smash Bros. tournament during E3 2014

In addition to confirming their not-so-E3 details, Nintendo also announced that they’ll be holding a Super Smash Bros. invitation tournament during E3 2014.

Held at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theater — where the old Nintendo E3 press conference used to take place — the event will run during E3, 10-12 June 2014.

The tournament appears to be wholly invitational.

Super Smash Bros. will launch this winter on 3DS and near Christmas time on Wii U.
