Nintendo details the three playstyles of the Switch

Nintendo today detailed the three main playstyles of the Nintendo Switch.

  • TV mode: “Play games on the TV, in typical video game style.”
  • Tabletop mode: “Stand the Nintendo Switch console up with its kickstand, and play using the Joy-Con.”
  • Handheld mode: “Attach the left and right Joy-Con to the system. You can take it with you… and play anywhere you’d like.”

Moreover, it was confirmed that up to 8 Switch systems can be connected for local, wireless multiplayer gaming.

We’ll have more as it becomes available.
