[UPDATE] Nintendo Australia uses email to confirm the new 3DS Fire Emblem game for 2015

We may get the new Fire Emblem 3DS game, titled Fire Emblem If in Japan, sometime this year.

While the game is already confirmed for 2015 in Japan, Nintendo has yet to officially confirm the same for western audiences.

Still, in an email sent to consumers by Nintendo Australia (as reported by GoNintendo), the game is listed as “coming in 2015”, though Fire Emblem is the only title without a proper release date; it’s listed as TBC. You can see the relevant portion of the mailout below:

We’ll keep you informed.

Update: Nintendo Australia has issued an updated email, apologising for the previous email and amending it so that Fire Emblem is listed with a fully TBA release date. The title was not intended to be listed under the “coming in 2015” banner.
