Nintendo announces Super Smash Club for Australia, New Zealand

Nintendo Australia yesterday advised that Super Smash Club will head to Australia and New Zealand in a few weeks, “giving you the chance to play and compete to win prizes as part of a local Super Smash Club”.

Gamers can get together and form local Clubs of ten players or more. “Register via the soon-to-launch website and host a local multiplayer tournament with your club members,” Nintendo said of the setup.

The winner of your local tournament will win a copy of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U alongside a Mario amiibo.

The organiser of each local tournament can also be eligible to receive a Pikachu amiibo.

Only 50 Clubs will be able to register, so Nintendo advises eager gamers keep an eye out on their Facebook and Twitter pages for more information.
