Nintendo announces new waves of Smash Bros., Mario amiibos

At their recent Nintendo Direct, the publisher confirmed two new waves of amiibos.

The first wave will feature six new amiibos times for autumn: EarthBound‘s Ness, Fire Emblem‘s Robin and Lucina, Pokémon‘s Charizard alongside icons Pac-Man and Wario.

Each figure will work in Hyrule Warriors, Mario Party 10 and Super Smash Bros.. Robin and Lucina will also work in the upcoming Code Name: STEAM.

During the Direct, Nintendo also confirmed that a series of Mario amiibos (seen above) will be available from 20 March alongside Mario Party 10.

As with other Nintendo Direct news today, we’re awaiting confirmation from Nintendo Australia.
