Nintendo and Universal theme parks partner to offer future themed attractions

Nintendo and Universal Parks & Resorts yesterday announced plans that will inject the world of Nintendo into Universal theme parks.

“The immersive experiences will include major attractions at Universal’s theme parks and will feature Nintendo’s most famous characters and games.,” read a joint press release. “More details will be announced in the future, as the Nintendo and Universal creative teams work to create specific concepts.”

While park locations and timings haven’t been announced, we’re sure this news is making Nintendo fans very happy right now. One thing’s for sure, though — if they don’t call whatever they make ‘NintendoLand’, it’s a missed opportunity.
