Nintendo adds, removes user reviews on Nintendo Switch

As fast as they went up, Nintendo has removed user reviews from the Nintendo Switch.

Users had the ability to review games via the eShop last week, though Nintendo has told Polygon that system was a “trial” and has since removed it. The Nintendo Switch website still has a section for reviews present, though those areas simply detail why the feature has been removed.

“Customer reviews have been taken offline as we evaluate this feature and its functionality,” the sections read. “We currently have no estimated date on when an update will be provided. We appreciate the positive response and thank the reviewers who provided such thoughtful commentary on the games.”

Did you rely on those new reviews for advise on game purchases? Did you leave a review of your own? Sound off on what you think in the comments area, below.
