Ninja driven to Mixer by restrictive Twitch contract, says manager

Jessica Blevins, the wife and manager of Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevens, has detailed why the streamer left Twitch for Mixer.

“[Twitch] did not listen to us,” Blevins told Business Insider. “Everything we were asking, it never came back reflecting our wishes – and that’s completely outside of finances.”

Blevins stressed that “money was the last thing on our mind,” and said the decision to leave was because of a restrictive contract.

“With the wording of how that contract was going, he wouldn’t have been able to grow his brand much outside of gaming,” Blevins said, asserting that “Microsoft was so aligned with what we wanted, and we were at.”

Since leaving Twitch for Mixer, Ninja’s already appeared on the popular television show, The Masked Singer.

Ninja left Twitch back in August 2019 to stream exclusively on Microsoft’s streaming platform, Mixer.
