Nier Remaster coming to PC, Xbox One, PS4; celebrates 10 years of the IP

Nier Remaster — tongue-twistingly called Nier Replicant ver. 1.22474487139 — will head to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 in celebration of the original game’s 10th anniversary.

The title will be developed by Toylogic and overseen by director Yoko Taro and producer Yosuke Saito. It will also feature newly recorded music by composed Keiichi Okabi. Furthermore the the title will be expanded to introduce new characters and story content.

Alongside the news of the remaster, Square also announced Nier Reincarnation, a free-to-play mobile game that will also offer microtransactions.

Finally, it was also confirmed that Nier Automata: Become as Gods will head to Xbox Game Pass on 2 April.
