NHL 20 unlocked early for Xbox One players this week

NHL 20 unlocked early for some users on Xbox One, EA has today advised.

“You may have noticed that someone snapped the ceremonial faceoff back a little heavy yesterday giving a few lucky players access to the pre-ordered version of NHL 20 on Xbox,” a statement from EA reads.

EA was then quick to clarify that work on NHL 20 is ongoing.

“The ‘chel you may have seen is still in development as the team pulls in your feedback from the beta,” the statement continues. “Not all content shown in this version will be available at launch.”

EA was also quick to point out that a single player banned for accessing the unlocked verison of the game will have that ban reversed, and that anyone who made any progress within HUT or World of Chel will have that progress reset for launch.

NHL 20 is scheduled for a 6 September launch across Xbox One and PS4.
