NHL 20 makes it easier to report racist player, club names

NHL 20 has today released a new tool that makes it easier to report racist and offensive club and team names, something that’s plagued the franchise itself for countless years.

We’ve added the ability to directly report offensive WOC Player and Club names in [NHL 20] through our Pro Clubs site,” EA Sports declared through Twitter.

The update added that over 9,000 accounts have already been reprimanded in 2020, and that the EA Sports team will “continue to take the proper steps to enforce against any offenders.”

The new reporting tool, found here, is part of EA Sports’ committment to combat in-game racism across its range of titles.

EA Sports’ current range of titles — NHL 20FIFA 20Madden NFL 20 and NBA Live 19are all available now.
