NHL 17: New update adds new jerseys, new HUT team mode and more

NHL 17‘s third content update is now available on PS4 and Xbox One, offering up a wealth of new content.

A new mode called Competitive Seasons has been added to Hockey Ultimate Team, offering players a monthly seasonal format to compete against others for in-game rewards. The new mode is detailed in great length here.

A host of new jerseys have also been added to the title, including the Centennial uniforms of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings, the Winter Classic jerseys of the Chicago Blackhawks and St. Louis Blues, the Stadium Series uniforms of the Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins as well as uniforms for the Frolunda Indians, Linkoping HC and Baie-Comeau Drakker teams.

NHL 17 is available now on Xbox One and PS4.
