NHL 17 beta: EASHL against North Americans is like playing with cement skates

Stevivor tried jumping into some EASHL drop-in play this morning, and the results were as expected: playing a game of hockey with people based in North America just doesn’t work.

It’s not the game’s fault, really — just our internet connection and ping. As such, we moved around like a drunken hockey player wearing cement skates.

Still, the following drop-in game does show off the game’s new progression system — notice our grassroots rink?

There was a two minute gap after our player just decided to skate up in the first period where the game froze. We edited that out.

Have you been playing the beta? What do you think?
