The next Pokemon Go Community Day is all about Slakoth

The next big Pokemon Go Community Day will focus on Slakoth, developer Niantic has recently advised.

The event will be between 3.00 pm – 6.00 pm AEST (or the same timeframe in your local time) on Saturday, 8 June. Slakoth spawns will be greatly increased, as will the chance to grab a Shiny Slakoth. Spoilers: Shiny Slakoth is pink.

As per Community Days, lures will last for three hours and eggs will hatch in 1/4 the time they usually do. To take advantage of the latter perk, make sure you’re not using all of your hard-earned incubators until the Community Day event starts.

Once you’ve got enough Candies to evolve Slakoth, be aware that Slaking will receive a special move, as yet unannounced.

Pokemon Go is available now on iOS and Android devices.
