Next Harvest Moon game renamed Story of Seasons due to trademark problems

Xseed Games will be publishing the next entry in the Harvest Moon franchise as Story of Seasons to do trademark issues.

The Harvest Moon trademark is owned by Natsume, who’ve published the franchise since its debut on Super NES in 1997. With Xseed taking over, the name change is required.

The development staff on Story of Seasons is largely the same as in past Harvest Moon titles.

Story of Seasons will be available on 3DS.
