New System Shock remake trailer shows off the goods

A new System Shock trailer has shown off just what the remake will look like ahead of its impending release.

“The exciting new trailer features the returning voice talents of Terri Brosius as SHODAN (Sentient Hyper-Optimized Data Access Network), a malevolent AI hellbent on humanity’s destruction,” Publisher Prime Matter said in a press release.

“A wealth of new gameplay scenes are on display in the trailer, as well as a first look at iconic areas fully-reconstructed by the talented team at Nightdive Studios.”

System Shock is a full remake of the 1994 original, complete with modern controls, visuals and the like.

Expect System Shock soon on Windows PC via Steam, GOG and the Epic Games Store alongside Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5.
